Beautiful! I like the mustache and the stacked buildings. The barbed wire is a good touch. Something related that I read on the way to Kaplan this morning: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/15/opinion/nocera-a-world-without-privacy.html?_r=0&hp=&adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1381891626-VSBitEhfVyrC6i3uAK/moA
Anyone remember that guy who came in to show us the Heard ap? I remember him saying something that made me a little uneasy, like "This ap will hopefully cause people to think before they speak because it could easily be recorded." Why we gotta be recording each other! Sheesh! That's where social media has the Party beat: rather than expending money to have Thought Police, why not just convince everyone to buy a hip product that allows them to police each other? Call me paranoid, but this stuff legit spooks me.
You're totally right! We are all being watched, recorded and monitored by the new age BIG BROTHER ''trends and the internet'' but I lost the urge to fight that as it turned out to be its a definite loss! =P
I'm with you Will! We're at the mercy of social media... which is why I think we should use it intelligently! Read: I hate lazy social media features like the "like" button, and the way we are becoming information hyper-consumerists too afraid or apathetic to spark a conversation. I'll take creative blog collaborations over Facebook any day. I am super into your comment, and Linah I love that you posted this! Way to get the discussion going!!!
